The sample project in IDEA StatiCa Detail contains two project items. The first is the original reinforced concrete corbel, where it becomes clear that the existing reinforcement cannot resist the applied loading and the structure fails the code checks.
The second project item is the same corbel, now calculated with strengthening, using unbonded post-tensioned tendons. It passes the code-checks now, proving how prestressing can help to save such structural details.
