Launching rail of a bridge

A single span steel truss structure representing a launching rail of an existing steel bridge. The main beams are designed as general welded I-section beams with stiffening plates. The beams are transversely connected via U-section beams bolted together using the connecting plates. The stiffness of the structure in the longitudinal direction is ensured by bolted diagonals with the L-shape cross-section. The anchoring is made of baseplates with straight anchors on one side and simple baseplates without anchors on the other side. The whole structure is designed and analyzed in the IDEA StatiCa Member application.
