Als vuistregel kan worden aangenomen dat een excentriciteit dat resulteert in tussenafstand tussen staven van meer dan de profiel hoogte beschouwd moet worden als 2 aparte verbindingen.
in het onderstaand plaatje als 'e' weergegeven.

Dit is een redelijke mate van excentriciteit. In dit voorbeeld staat een kleine last van 200kN op de bovenste kolomdeel. En de excentriciteit valt binnen de waarde 'e'. Het model rekent netjes en laat netjes de vervormingen, rekken en spanningen zien.

Wanneer we dit voorbeeld iets veranderen en de excentriciteit 'e' groter maken dan de profielhoogte (van 1 van de 2 profielen. Zien we dat bij dezelfde belasting het hele model faalt.

Een andere manier van aangeven wat er toelaatbaar is in IDEA Connection is als volgt.

Wanneer de aansluitende staven/members nog binnen 1 á 2 x de hoogte van het profiel vallen, zou het als 1 verbinding beschouwd kunnen worden. Uiteraard zal dan ook gekeken moeten worden naar het equilibrium / evenwicht in de knoop en dit zal gecompenseerd moeten worden.

Vooral in het geval van een doorlopend element, moeten we zorgvuldig de interne krachten in alle elementen invoeren, zodat het evenwicht in het knooppunt wordt gehandhaafd.</p>\n<p>Bij de definitie van de belasting kunnen twee mogelijkheden worden gekozen met betrekking tot het evenwicht.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Vereenvoudigd</strong> - voor deze modus wordt de dragende staaf ondersteund (doorlopend element aan beide uiteinden) en de belasting wordt niet gedefinieerd op de dragende staaf</li>\n <li><strong>Geavanceerd</strong> (standaard) - de dragende staaf wordt slechts aan één uiteinde ondersteund, de belastingen worden op alle elementen uitgeoefend en het krachtenevenwicht moet worden gevonden</li>\n</ul>\n<p>De modus kan worden omgeschakeld in de bovenste balk met de knop <strong>Belastingen in evenwicht</strong> (Loads in equilibrium).</p>\n<figure data-asset-id=\"81e4bc79-fe77-472e-9a6d-1baf6855a0b9\" data-image-id=\"81e4bc79-fe77-472e-9a6d-1baf6855a0b9\"><img src=\"https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com:443/28eac049-c8ed-00e2-220c-12142a968dff/d58c8537-9d43-401a-81f5-b7982b1fa9a4/Equilibrium%20and%20supporting%20member%202.png\" data-asset-id=\"81e4bc79-fe77-472e-9a6d-1baf6855a0b9\" data-image-id=\"81e4bc79-fe77-472e-9a6d-1baf6855a0b9\" alt=\"\"></figure>\n<p>Standaard staat de optie Belastingen in evenwicht aan (sinds versie 22.0 van IDEA StatiCa, zie de sectie van <a data-item-id=\"da6f80aa-abfd-4e64-b691-1dc7ea8e3d4c\" href=\"\">Release notes 22.0</a>). In dit geval wordt de tabel met <strong>onevenwichtige krachten</strong> getoond en is de gebruiker verantwoordelijk voor het in evenwicht houden van de belastingen. Ook bij gebruik van de vereenvoudigde belastingsmethode (met Belasting in evenwicht uit) wordt niet het volledige beeld van de belasting van de verbinding in aanmerking genomen en kan dit tot onjuiste resultaten leiden.</p>\n<h4>Voorbeeld</h4>\n<p>Laten we het verschil demonstreren in het volgende voorbeeld: </p>\n<p>De verbinding van een belaste ligger (B1) met een doorlopende kolom (C) heeft de optie Belastingen in evenwicht <strong>gedeactiveerd</strong>.</p>\n<figure data-asset-id=\"e43e5b07-180d-4357-8f68-0742ce08d631\" data-image-id=\"e43e5b07-180d-4357-8f68-0742ce08d631\"><img src=\"https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com:443/28eac049-c8ed-00e2-220c-12142a968dff/fef429d6-825b-4bd8-a2de-0443cd708638/Equilibrium%20and%20supporting%20member%206.png\" data-asset-id=\"e43e5b07-180d-4357-8f68-0742ce08d631\" data-image-id=\"e43e5b07-180d-4357-8f68-0742ce08d631\" alt=\"\"></figure>\n<p>Nadat we het project hebben <strong>berekend</strong>, worden de resultaten in de 3D scène getoond. De tabel met <strong>onevenwichtige krachten</strong> verschijnt. Indien slechts een deel van de verbinding wordt gecontroleerd ( eenvoudig, b.v. een ligger-kolomverbinding) en we niet geïnteresseerd zijn in de interactie met de belasting op de ondersteunde staven, is er een optie om de evenwichtsvoorwaarde uit te schakelen. In de realiteit is het werkelijke rotatiepunt (scharnier) verschoven van het punt van de theoretische knoop (meestal het snijpunt van de assen van de staven). We nemen aan dat voor boutverbindingen het rotatiepunt zich in het midden van de boutgroep bevindt.</p>\n<p>Laten we nu de situatie vergelijken wanneer het nulbuigmoment wordt beschouwd als op het knooppunt (links) en wanneer we de positie van de dwarskracht (en dus het nulbuigmoment) verschuiven naar het eigenlijke draaipunt (rechts).</p>\n<figure data-asset-id=\"691fcb43-89ed-43e1-b003-3e417abbb341\" data-image-id=\"691fcb43-89ed-43e1-b003-3e417abbb341\"><img src=\"https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com:443/28eac049-c8ed-00e2-220c-12142a968dff/619827bd-c58e-4bf0-9cae-ba1423d4d4c4/Load-position_6.png\" data-asset-id=\"691fcb43-89ed-43e1-b003-3e417abbb341\" data-image-id=\"691fcb43-89ed-43e1-b003-3e417abbb341\" alt=\"\"></figure>\n<h3>Instellen van de positie van de krachten</h3>\n<p>In de toepassing kan de positie van de dwarskracht worden bepaald in de <strong>modelsectie</strong> van het gegeven element. Dit moment (afkomstig van de dwarskracht die lineair toeneemt vanuit het knooppunt) leidt tot het onjuiste gedrag van het horizontale element. </p>\n<p>We kunnen de opstelling gemakkelijk oplossen door de dwarskracht te verplaatsen naar de positie van het scharnier. "value": "<p>De CBFEM-methode (Component Based Finite Element Model) maakt een snelle analyse mogelijk van verbindingen met verschillende vormen en configuraties.. Het model bestaat uit elementen waarop de belasting wordt uitgeoefend en productiebewerkingen (inclusief verstijvende staven) die dienen om elementen met elkaar te verbinden. Elementen moeten niet verward worden met productiebewerkingen omdat hun snijkanten verbonden zijn via koppelingen met het verbindingsknoop, dus ze vervormen niet goed als ze gebruikt worden in plaats van productiebewerkingen (verstijvende staven).</p>\n<p>Het geanalyseerde FEM-model wordt automatisch gegenereerd. Om praktische redenen wordt de steun die alle verplaatsingen weerstaat, echter gedefinieerd in het eerste uiteinde van het dragende element. Het beïnvloedt noch de spanningstoestand noch de interne krachten in de verbinding, alleen de presentatie van vervormingen.</p>\n<p>Aan de uiteinden van de verbonden elementen worden geschikte ondersteuningstypes gedefinieerd die rekening houden met het type van de individuele elementen om het optreden van instabiele mechanismen te voorkomen.</p>\n<p>De standaardlengte van elk element is twee keer de hoogte. De lengte van een element moet minstens 1× de hoogte van het element zijn na de laatste bewerking (las, opening, verstijver enz.) omwille van de correcte vervormingen na de koppelingen die het gesneden uiteinde van een element verbinden met de verbindingsknoop.</p>\n<p><br></p>"

"value": "<p>De lasten op elke knoop in het constructiemodel moeten in evenwicht zijn. Eventuele onevenwichtige krachten worden opgevangen door steunpunten. Het wordt aanbevolen om een belastingcombinatie te gebruiken in plaats van een omhullende met interne krachten.</p>\n<p>Elke knoop van het 3D FEM-model moet in evenwicht zijn. De evenwichtsvereiste is correct, maar niet noodzakelijk voor het ontwerp van eenvoudige verbindingen. Eén element van de verbinding is altijd \"dragend\" en de andere zijn verbonden. Als alleen de verbinding van verbonden elementen wordt gecontroleerd, is het niet nodig om het evenwicht te bewaren. The point of the theoretical joint does not exist in the CBFEM model, thus the load cannot be applied here. The model must be loaded by actions M and V which have to be transferred to the end of segment in the distance r</p>\n<p><em>M</em><sub>c</sub> = <em>M</em> – <em>V</em> ∙ <em>r</em></p>\n<p><em>V</em><sub>c</sub> = <em>V</em></p>\n<p>In the CBFEM model, the end section of the segment is loaded by moment <em>M</em><sub>c</sub> and force <em>V</em><sub>c</sub>.</p>\n<p>When designing the joint, its real position relative to the theoretical point of joint must be determined and respected. The internal forces in the position of the real joint are mostly different from the internal forces in the theoretical point of joint. This is fulfilled for rigid joints but the situation may be completely different for hinges.</p>\n<figure data-asset-id=\"e622907f-9a02-4a70-ac5d-40dcd37bce98\" data-image-id=\"e622907f-9a02-4a70-ac5d-40dcd37bce98\"><img src=\"https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com:443/28eac049-c8ed-00e2-220c-12142a968dff/73a64f02-d658-4e3e-a965-dc3c77832767/pinned.png\" data-asset-id=\"e622907f-9a02-4a70-ac5d-40dcd37bce98\" data-image-id=\"e622907f-9a02-4a70-ac5d-40dcd37bce98\" alt=\"\"></figure>\n<p><em>Position of hinge in theoretical 3D FEM model and in the real structure</em></p>\n<p>It is illustrated in the previous figure that the position of the hinge in the theoretical 1D members model differs from the real position in the structure. The theoretical model does not correspond to reality. When applying the calculated internal forces, a significant bending moment is applied to the shifted joint and the designed joint is overlarge or cannot be designed either. The solution is simple – both models must correspond. Either the hinge in 1D member model must be defined in the proper position or the shear force must be shifted to get a zero moment in the position of the hinge.</p>\n<figure data-asset-id=\"74ae8357-4575-43b3-b11f-ecefebe5b415\" data-image-id=\"74ae8357-4575-43b3-b11f-ecefebe5b415\"><img src=\"https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com:443/28eac049-c8ed-00e2-220c-12142a968dff/d108966f-a62c-4b08-8a51-ed0db6d10eee/M_r_CBFEM.png\" data-asset-id=\"74ae8357-4575-43b3-b11f-ecefebe5b415\" data-image-id=\"74ae8357-4575-43b3-b11f-ecefebe5b415\" alt=\"\"></figure>\n<p><em>Shifted distribution of bending moment on beam: zero moment is at the position of the hinge</em></p>\n<p>The shift of the shear force can be defined in the table for the internal forces definition.</p>\n<p>The location of load effect has a big influence on the correct design of the connection. To avoid all misunderstandings, we allow the user to select from three options – <strong>Node</strong> / <strong>Bolts</strong> / <strong>Position</strong>.</p>\n<figure data-asset-id=\"412d71c8-6632-4943-90cb-5f4465a1e332\" data-image-id=\"412d71c8-6632-4943-90cb-5f4465a1e332\"><img src=\"https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com:443/28eac049-c8ed-00e2-220c-12142a968dff/2f8a04e0-e53d-471b-862f-5a3cf91af8db/node_bolts_position.png\" data-asset-id=\"412d71c8-6632-4943-90cb-5f4465a1e332\" data-image-id=\"412d71c8-6632-4943-90cb-5f4465a1e332\" alt=\"\"></figure>\n<p>Note that when selecting the Node option, the forces are applied at the end of a selected member which is usually at the theoretical node unless the offset of the selected member is set in geometry.</p>\n<h4>Import loads from FEA programs</h4>\n<p>IDEA StatiCa enables to import internal forces from third-party FEA programs. FEA programs use an envelope of internal forces from combinations. IDEA StatiCa Connection is a program which resolves steel joint nonlinearly (elastic/plastic material model). Therefore, the envelope combinations cannot be used. IDEA StatiCa searches for extremes of internal forces (<em>N, V</em><em><sub>y</sub></em><em>, V</em><em><sub>z</sub></em><em>, M</em><em><sub>x</sub></em><em>, M</em><em><sub>y</sub></em><em>, M</em><em><sub>z</sub></em>) in all combinations at the ends of all members connected to the joint. For each such extreme value, also all other internal forces from that combination in all remaining members are used. Idea StatiCa determines the worst combination for each component (plate, weld, bolt etc.) in the connection.</p>\n<p>The user can modify this list of load cases. He can work with combinations in the wizard (or BIM) or he can delete some cases directly in IDEA StatiCa Connection.</p>\n<p><strong>Warning!</strong></p>\n<p>It is necessary to take into account unbalanced internal forces during the import. This can happen in following cases:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Nodal force was applied to the position of the investigated node. The software cannot detect which member should transfer this nodal force and, therefore, it is not taken into account in the analysis model. <em>Solution: Do not use nodal forces in global analysis. If necessary, the force must be manually added to a selected member as a normal or shear force.</em></li>\n <li>Loaded, non-steel (usually timber or concrete) member is connected to the investigated node. Such member is not considered in the analysis and its internal forces are ignored in the analysis. <em>Solution: Replace the concrete member with a concrete block and anchorage.</em></li>\n <li>The node is a part of a slab or a wall (usually from concrete). The slab or the wall is not part of the model and its internal forces are ignored. <em>Solution: Replace the concrete slab or wall with a concrete block and anchorage.</em></li>\n <li>Some members are connected to the investigated node via rigid links. Such members are not included in the model and their internal forces are ignored. <em>Solution: Add these members into the list of connected members manually.</em></li>\n <li>Seismic load cases are analysed in the software. Most FEA software offer the modal analysis to solve seismicity. The results of internal forces of seismic load cases provide usually only internal force envelopes in sections. Due to the evaluation method (square root of the sum of squares – SRSS), the internal forces are all positive and it is not possible to find the forces matching to the selected extreme. It is not possible to achieve a balance of internal forces. <em>Solution: Change the positive sign of some internal forces manually.</em></li>\n</ul>"

Handmatige invoer in de tabel</h2>\n<p>This is the basic and straightforward procedure: In the table of loads, you can load members by the set of six internal forces. </p>\n<p>Dit is de basis en eenvoudige procedure: In de belastingtabel kunt u de elementen laden met de set van zes interne krachten. </p>\n<p>Op basis van de geselecteerde optie \"Belastingen in evenwicht\" wordt onderaan de tabel met onevenwichtige krachten weergegeven. (Opmerking: Als de optie is uitgeschakeld, kunt u geen belasting op het ondersteunende element toepassen. Handmatige invoer vanuit een spreadsheet</h2>\n<p>Om tijd te besparen of de belasting over te brengen vanuit een ander bronbestand (het kan uw globale analysemodel zijn of gewoon een ander IDEA StatiCa Connection-model), is er een optie om de belastingswaarden van de tabel in bulk in te voeren vanuit een spreadsheet. Zorg ervoor dat de volgorde van de lijnen die u overbrengt precies overeenkomt met de volgorde van de elementen in de verbindingstabel van de belastingen. U kunt de tabel<strong> herschikken</strong> met behulp van de pijlen aan de rechterkant. De nulwaarden in de tabel van onevenwichtige krachten bevestigen dat de import correct werd uitgevoerd. De belastingseffecten worden opgeslagen als een CSV-bestand. Belastingoverdracht van een verbindingsproject naar een ander</h2>\n<p>Dit is een andere optie voor het overbrengen van de belasting van een IDEA StatiCa Connection model naar een ander. Dit kan handig zijn, vooral wanneer U een CAD-model heeft met ontworpen verbindingen en een constructiemodel in een FEA-programma. "value": "<p>Versie v22.0 van IDEA StatiCa is uit en brengt een aantal verbeteringen voor het ontwerpen van staal- en betonconstructies. Werken met IDEA StatiCa zal minder tijd kosten dan voorheen, terwijl het u extra modelleer- en ontwerpmogelijkheden biedt.</p>\n<p>Wat is nieuw? Connection Browser kan nu bedrijfssets van staalverbindingen maken. Twee nieuwe BIM links, verbeterde import naar Checkbot voor alle bestaande links. Nieuwe tools voor het modelleren van verbindingen, betere analyse van betonresultaten, verbeterde UI van onze toepassingen, en nog veel meer.</p>\n<p>Ontdek hieronder alle verbeteringen en Bereken de schattingen van gisteren!</p>\n<p>[gehoste video met de introductie van de versie]</p>\n<h2>Staal-nieuws</h2>\n<p>Hoewel onze staaltoepassingen voor het ontwerpen van verbindingen en staven al toonaangevend zijn op de markt, blijven we ze snel verbeteren. Connection Browser stelt u nu in staat om uw verbindingsontwerpen te maken en te delen met collega's in uw bedrijf. Dit betekent dat uw unieke bedrijfsset van verbindingen, automatisch gesynchroniseerd wordt naar alle gebruikers van uw licentie, klaar om gebruikt te worden! </p>\n<p>We hebben een oplossing gevonden voor het snijden en lassen van staven die door een andere staaf van een holle doorsnede gaan. Bovendien zult u in staat zijn om de verbinding van het element met, bijvoorbeeld, een plaat te simuleren die extra ondersteuning biedt tegen lateraal-torsie knikken. Dit werkt zowel voor IDEA StatiCa Connection als voor IDEA StatiCa Member.</p>\n<p>IDEA StatiCa Connection is nu ook in staat om het contact tussen een voetplaat en een betonblok te controleren, zelfs zonder geïnstalleerde ankers. Onze focus lag ook op het updaten van onze materiaalbibliotheek en het aanvullen van de codecontroles op basis van uw ontwerpcode. We hebben de aandachtspunten gespecificeerd voor het verbinden van holle profielen met lange doorgaande bouten.</p>\n<p>De vermoeiingsanalyse werd aangevuld met de controle van de spanningen rechtstreeks in de lassen en in de platen ernaast. We hebben naar uw verzoeken geluisterd en veelgevraagde functies ontwikkeld voor IDEA StatiCa Detail. Nu kunnen ingenieurs de fouten minimaliseren en IDEA StatiCa het zelfgewicht van de constructie automatisch laten berekenen. Het maakt niet uit hoe complex de geometrie is, verlopende doorsneden, consoles, complexe doorsneden, onderbroken delen met verschillende diktes. We hebben de CSFM solver verbeterd en versneld en de analyseresultaten uitgebreid. IDEA StatiCa Detail is een krachtig, snel en veilig tool voor het ontwerpen van betonconstructies.</p>\n<p>IDEA StatiCa Member - in de vorige versie hebben we de GMNIA niet-lineaire methode geïmplementeerd. In versie 22 hebben we ons gericht op verbeteringen van de gebruikersinterface, zoals het faciliteren van de invoer van geometrie en belastingen, en vooral op de interpretatie van de uitkomsten van de niet-lineaire analyse. "value": "<p>De rekenkundige solver is het hart van CBFEM.</p>\n<p>We zijn voortdurend bezig met het verbeteren en verfijnen van deze numerieke methode. In versie 21 hebben we een aantal jaren van ontwikkeling afgerond op het gebied van geometrische niet-lineariteit en grote vervormingen, inclusief initiële imperfecties (GMNIA). Hierdoor konden we de toepassing Member van bèta naar live brengen.</p>\n<p>Overal waar de member beoordelingen in hun 3D FEA programma niet voldoende zijn voor onze gebruikers, is Member nu beschikbaar voor hen. De elementen worden nu volledig gemodelleerd, inclusief de eindverbindingen, wat voordelig is voor de ontwerper en hem bevrijdt van de noodzaak om de effecten van de eindverbindingen op de belastbaarheid en het stabiliteitsverlies in te schatten. Het lid kan omgaan met de invloed van dwars- en langsverstijvers, openingen, veranderingen in de doorsnedehoogte, maar ook met de invloed van verbonden secundaire leden. Het effect van torsie en kromtrekken is geen probleem voor deze methode.</p>\n<p>Tegelijkertijd dient de GMNIA-methode aanzienlijk om de verbindingsmodellen in de Connection app te verfijnen. Ze wordt nu gebruikt voor alle verbindingen met holle doorsneden - ronde en rechthoekige buizen. Volgens de normen worden buisverbindingen beoordeeld volgens empirische formules, waarvan de geldigheid beperkt is tot bepaalde geometrische omstandigheden. De overeenstemming van deze formules met de werkelijkheid is nogal twijfelachtig, vooral aan de randen van de geldigheidsintervallen. De verbeterde GMNIA-methode komt zeer goed overeen met de standaardformules, vooral in het midden van de geldigheidsintervallen. In de randgebieden is de methode grondig gevalideerd ten opzichte van hogere wiskundige modellen (ABAQUS) en fysische experimenten.</p>\n<p>Elke verandering in het numerieke model brengt noodzakelijkerwijs een verandering in de resultaten met zich mee. Het bevat nu een niet-lineaire formulering van niet alleen shell-elementen (die al aanwezig was in eerdere versies), maar ook van links en constraints die worden gebruikt in componenten, zoals bouten of lassen.</p>\n<p>Het model van de verbinding is sterk verbeterd door de toevoeging van een gecondenseerd superelement. Dit element wordt toegevoegd achter het uiteinde van het element en heeft dezelfde eigenschappen als het elastische schaalmodel van het element. Het is slechts één element, maar het laat elastische vervorming en spanning toe in de uiteinden van het element. De doorsnede kan vervormen aan de uiteinden van een model dat bestaat uit schaalelementen. Voor verbindingen van holle doorsneden zijn relatief lange elementen nodig - tot 10 keer de diameter van de doorsnede.
