I would definitely recommend IDEA StatiCa to other engineers. The most convenient aspect for us is that engineers from other countries are familiar with IDEA StatiCa. The results are reliable.

IDEA StatiCa has become a crucial tool in our workflow, offering powerful features like finite element analysis for complex connections and comprehensive code-based compliance checks. Its seamless integration with Tekla Structures and other analysis software simplifies the process of importing connection geometry and loading data.

For me, the biggest advantage of IDEA StatiCa is the link from other design softwares such as STAAD and ETABS. What makes it is interesting and powerful is the ability to be flexible in what type of connection you are going to use and to modify the connection. In other softwares, you are only using 2-4 connections.

Once you have templates set up, it is really quick to pull the same sort of design on different applications and get pretty quick results that are accurate.
