About the MasterSeries plugin

The integration between MasterSeries and IDEA StatiCa provides a seamless workflow for exporting structural models and analysis results from MasterFrame into IDEA StatiCa Checkbot. This powerful connection allows engineers to design and verify complex steel connections.
Using the dedicated BIM Exchange interface in MasterSeries, users can:

• Select and export individual or multiple members, including internal forces and load cases
• Choose between physical or analytical member export (recommended for proper joint modeling)
• Control the level of detail in force distribution with adjustable internal result points
• Launch IDEA StatiCa Checkbot directly from MasterFrame and import data into IDEA StatiCa
  The link remains active, enabling ongoing updates. Additional members or load cases can be added later, and changes to analysis results can be synced within Checkbot without re-exporting the full model.
  This one-way export integration streamlines the verification process, saving time and reducing the risk of manual data transfer errors—ideal for engineers working on steel building projects requiring advanced connection design.

The BIM link is managed by IDEA StatiCa Checkbot - an application for the management of BIM workflows. This means for you:

• Export and synchronize connections and members easily
• Complete control over all of your imported connections and members
• A clear list of all imported items including status checked/not-checked
